The year is 1920 and the ‘Selby’ brothers Jonny and Alfred are running a successful pub in Birmingham which doubles as a front for their somewhat shady gambling business!
The racehorse life has been good to the brothers but when Jonny finds out that someone has painted his prize horse and tried to cheat him out of cash, he wants to find the culprit and now! He calls on the one and only Isabelle Mumford to assist but when there is a grisly murder inside the pub, it falls to Miss Mumford to get to the bottom of what has been going on…
